Balance sheet : integrated junior cabinet in September 2014 as a consultant/auditor in if I don't have enough recoil to a precise balance of my experience at EY. However, for the moment, I am fully satisfied because it allows me to develop my skills in information systems, expand my network, to discover various sectors of activities and also already have certain responsibilities.

Skills developed : not knowing precisely what was previously the job of computer audit, I have of adapting me to the context and the requirements of the job. I was able to understand the role of the auditor and integrate the audit approach during a mission. The audit was based on the COBIT repository, I could incorporate some 'good practice' advocated.
Moreover, I learn to be more rigorous, organized and methodical, and also to communicate with the client (maintenance, etc...) in order to be in line with the requirements of the audit.

Strengths and weaknesses : so far I was able to identify the following strong points:
-Dynamic, young company or reign a good atmosphere between employees.
-The weight of the hierarchy does not or little feel, managers and even the associates are very open and always seem to appreciate to be able to know and share with beginners.
-Possibility of rapid evolution (2 years to be consultant senior, 5-6 years to become manager).
-Possibility to have responsibilities quickly (possible framing of other junior consultants at the end of one year of experience).
-Possibility to evolve on missions varied in different sectors of activity, from the audit to the Board. Unlike many firms, the Council IT of EY part is not composed of BU or practices. It is therefore quite possible and easy to move from a mission in IT security to another of IT governance for example.
Weak points:
Today, the main weak point that I found lies in the benefits provided by the company and which are relatively low (no gym, few benefits, etc...).

What you more or less enjoyed : as mentioned above, the working atmosphere is very nice because of the dynamism and youth of the undertaking that stick to my expectations. Many events are organised by employees (urban foot Mondays, afterwork frequent., etc.).

The very open culture of the company to exchange with everyone without hierarchical distinction is also an aspect that particularly surprised me. In addition, at the end of each mission, a return on the personal work is carried out by superior officer (senior consultant or manager) which allows to improve continuously.
The system of "grades" to evolve each year is also a particularly exciting point.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the conditions of working at EY. Indeed, while browsing the various recruitment sites, many opinions explained that it was not possible or very difficult to reconcile work and private life because, inter alia, the workload and particularly wide schedules. With regard to the IT audit, I note that this conclusion is incorrect, even if the workload, while irregular, remains globally important, schedules are not so horrible. Indeed, it is quite possible to have a sporting activity or social regular weekdays.

Finally, the possibility of conducting audit and varied Council missions allows, in my view, to develop his skills and is particularly trainer for a junior.

Tips for the business : I think that the company has reason to invest heavily on young people and must continue to train them so that they develop their skills and become, to measure, experts in certain fields.
