Assessment: I held various positions, in particular Tester, including as head of a small team (on a single project, short enough) then as functional analyst. The balance is very positive, having evolved in terms of projects (new projects, small and large maintenance) in terms of business or even in terms of status (employee of a consulting firm and then independent).
Skills obtained: Functional analysis, forecasts of cost (small projects) and in the end often find me in situation expert referent or home project, brings to handle delicate meetings
Strengths and weaknesses: Euroclear has definitely evolved since the time when I was there. There were many departures and arrivals also. I prefer not to answer in these conditions. That said, I find them still very Franco-French (I speak here of Euroclear France), which I have noticed in various contacts that I still have with them.
What you have more or less appreciated: Yet once, this date. A lot of veterans, having evolved from the time it was a monopoly and where the holder of a single patent of the colleges could become encoder are no longer there. I worked at Noisy le Grand, they are now all grouped together (for Euroclear France, once again) near the Opera House. Many things have changed, even if a culture steeped in a huge technicality of remain.
Advice for the company: For a number of French there: to open up more to the world, abandon a certain well Franco-French aggression and discover the virtues of diplomacy.
It is very difficult to respond to all of this, everything has changed there. There was a time, it was a huge opportunity in terms of social elevator, benefits, life balance pro - life. But today? Competition is severe. I imagine that teams are more than never heavily used.
