Assessment: ALTRAN is a company of innovation and advanced engineering consulting. 2 types of trades are in particular very represented at ALTRAN, the Business Manager and Consultant. The Business Manager is the Commercial that explores, approach of new customers to accompany them on their internal projects thanks to the second most representative trade of the company's business, the consultant. Indeed, the goal of Business Manager is to convince his future customers will be accompanied by Altran on their internal projects and therefore to pick up missions for its internal consultants to Altran. Once the agreement client, found mission and the consultant motivated to start this mission, 2nd Cap Manager takes over because it's then Manager consultant project throughout its mission. All this by continuing to solicit new customers to find new missions and meet other consultants and new customers. It is a very rich and particularly dynamic job that I served for 2 years within the company ALTRAN as Business Manager junior first then confirmed after one year.
I have integrated the Bank Assurance team (commercial half) where the main objective was to develop a portfolio of business canvassing the Directions of information, the Marketing Directions, communication systems and other branches of banks such as Société Générale, BNP... or well known on the French market insurance companies.
I thus had the opportunity to manage a team of about 20 consultants, to meet a large number of prospects from all walks of life and animate challenges for a team of about 30 commercial.
To make this trainer profession, it is not necessary to have graduated from the best school of engineers or the largest business school, just to be someone dynamic, of proactive, to have the taste of the challenges, to be open to others, and be ready to work hard!
Thanks to this experience, I discovered the canvassing "in the hard' and surveyed more than 500 leads, moves more than 400 interviews of recruitment, more than 50 annual interviews by Consultants, exceeded my objectives, met people with different personalities from the others which give meaning to this profession. It is through that confidence it has placed in me that I have fired my best during those 2 years.
Skills obtained: I have learned the human management, extensive recruitment of people and especially of high potential, human relations during annual meetings, points projects, trade negotiation with ferocious buyers, surpassing oneself in the commercial prospection, management and maintenance of a trading account, the achievement and objectives exceeded.
Strengths and weaknesses: According me, ALTRAN strengths lie in its commercial dynamic and its quality Council and its customers.
